Giclée — museum-grade fine art prints

Giclée reproductions are the benchmark for museum-grade fine art printing: high-resolution pigment printing on archival papers or canvas. This technique faithfully captures tonal range, subtle textures and color depth while offering archival longevity. Giclée editions represent an accessible entry point for collectors — hand-signed, individually numbered and issued with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Deepwater

Deepwater is a premium printing solution that delivers striking gloss, depth and reflective qualities. Ideal for exhibition and high-impact interior displays, prints occupy a higher price tier and present an exclusive collector offering. Editions are pigment-based, archival and released as limited, hand-signed runs.

Plexiglas

Plexiglas editions use a glass-like front surface to enhance color vibrancy and contrast while offering modern, design-focused presentation options. Plexi fronting is suited for contemporary interiors and design projects, and like other formats, editions are limited, hand-signed and certified.

Cohesive product strategy

The Art Paddock’s model centers on original paintings with a carefully managed editioning program. Giclée provides museum-grade accessibility, DeepWater supplies premium impact, and Plexiglass serves contemporary design needs. All editions are limited, signed and certified — a model that protects collector value and builds a sustainable commercial foundation. This is more than aesthetics; it’s a deliberate business strategy with real financial consequences — every production choice affects the long-term value of the work.

Giclée Printing

Giclée printing is a modern, advanced method of fine art reproduction that meets the highest expectations of artists, collectors, and museums alike.
As a result, giclée fine art printing is now considered equivalent to the more widely known traditional printmaking techniques such as etching, screen printing, and lithography.

The Giclée Fine Art Print

Giclée fine art prints represent the highest quality printed works available today, produced using state-of-the-art technology. However, giclée is not only a printing technique — it is also a form of art publishing. It allows the artist to create unique pieces or limited editions based on a digital artwork, a digital photograph, or a digitized reproduction of an existing original work.

The creation of a giclée print is a collaborative artistic process between the artist and the master printer, during which the artist supervises and approves every detail of the production.

The Certificate — An Essential Companion to the Giclée Artwork

The certificate serves as the official document of authenticity for the fine art print. It includes the details of limited editions and unique pieces, as well as a formal statement from both the artist and the publisher confirming that no more than the specified number of prints will be produced from the artwork.

The certificate also indicates the official release date of the edition, which may be either the date of approval of the proof print or the date when the first print was completed.

Holographic Identification Label

We maintain a detailed registry of all unique and limited edition prints produced by us. In order for the certificate we issue to remain valid and authentic, we carefully track every giclée edition and ensure continuous numbering of all prints.

Each print receives a holographic identification label featuring the Publisher’s logo and its unique registration number. A matching duplicate of this label is affixed to the certificate, creating a secure link between the artwork and its corresponding certificate.

The Publisher’s certificate is produced with a special anti-counterfeiting graphic design similar to those used for banknotes. It contains information in both Hungarian and English and includes the required signatures, the holographic identification label, and an embossed seal impression for additional security.

Production Partner

The Art Paddock limited editions are produced in collaboration with Pigmenta Fine Art Printing, a professional fine art print studio known for working with artists, photographers and galleries who require museum-quality reproduction.

Their expertise in archival pigment printing and fine art production ensures that every print maintains exceptional color accuracy, tonal depth and long-term stability. This level of production quality allows original paintings to be reproduced with remarkable fidelity while preserving the visual character of the artwork.

Working with a dedicated fine art printing partner also makes it possible to produce limited editions in a controlled and carefully documented way. Each artwork can be reproduced with consistent quality over time, while maintaining the integrity of the edition.

All limited prints released through The Art Paddock are hand-signed, individually numbered and accompanied by a premium Certificate of Authenticity, reinforcing their authenticity and collectible nature.

Through this collaboration, the goal is to ensure that every print meets the same professional standards expected by collectors, galleries and refined interior environments.

Limited Fine Art Prints

The Art Paddock operates at the intersection of original painting and controlled fine art publishing. Selected works are released as strictly limited editions, produced using museum-grade pigment printing on archival substrates. The materials are chosen for their depth, precision and long-term stability, ensuring that each piece maintains its visual integrity over time. Edition sizes are predetermined and will never be extended, preserving rarity and collector value.

Every print is hand-signed, individually numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity documenting the work and its place within the edition.

Original paintings remain the foundation of the studio. Each canvas is created using professional-grade materials and sealed for durability, resulting in unique, non-reproducible works. These originals represent the primary artistic statement, while limited editions function as carefully managed extensions of selected compositions.

All works (both originals and editions) are subject to individual quality control standards. The objective is not only aesthetic refinement, but long-term artistic integrity suitable for galleries, private collections and curated interior spaces.

Plexiglas

The acrylic-mounted artwork, widely popular internationally, is not only a constant presence at photography exhibitions but has also become a defining element in contemporary interior design. An acrylic glass print offers exceptional depth, brilliance, and clarity, enhancing the visual impact of photographic and digital artworks alike.

The piece can be installed without a visible frame, using a concealed aluminum mounting system that remains hidden behind the artwork. This structure creates a refined floating effect, positioning the print approximately 15 mm away from the wall. The result is a clean, modern presentation that integrates seamlessly into both residential and gallery environments. For secure installation, it is important to ensure that wall fixings (screws or hooks) are suitable for supporting the weight of the artwork.

This premium presentation format is especially recommended for photographic works. Each piece is produced using a 5 mm thick, optical-grade acrylic glass front panel that enhances color depth and sharpness while protecting the surface. The edges are diamond-polished to achieve a high-gloss, mirror-like finish, contributing to a refined, gallery-quality appearance.

The artwork is mounted using a bubble-free bonding process and sealed with a light-blocking backing panel to preserve image integrity and color accuracy over time. Printing is carried out with a 12-color, water-based pigment ink system within an RGB-calibrated color space, ensuring exceptional tonal range, vibrancy, and archival-quality durability.

Deepwater

The Crystal Gloss Film Finish is a distinctive presentation technique that gives the photograph a refined, glass-like high-gloss surface. The print is mounted onto a black light-blocking backing board, preventing light from passing through the image and ensuring maximum depth and contrast.

The glossy surface intensifies colors and enhances fine details, creating a vibrant, eye-catching visual effect. Thanks to the film’s reflective brilliance, every tone appears richer and more dynamic, naturally drawing the viewer’s attention and holding it.

This finish highlights the full color spectrum of the image, making it particularly powerful for expressive, high-contrast, or richly saturated photographs. The result is a striking visual presence that commands attention in both gallery spaces and contemporary interiors.

Produced with archival-quality materials, photographs finished with Crystal Gloss Film Finish are designed to resist fading for decades under proper display conditions. The smooth surface is also easy to maintain it can be gently dusted, wiped, and cleaned without compromising the image quality.
